We provide babies with a safe environment, rich with opportunities to explore, with books, songs, and messy activities. We plan a lot of listening activities and encourage babies to respond to their vocalisation and words. The baby room has a daily routine where all practitioner follow this modules planning that meets the individual baby needs. Our staff ensures they take each baby’s personality into consideration and make your child feel settled and happy at Busy Angels.

All babies have their own labelled bed/cot, bed sheet and blanket and are assigned a key worker who will discuss your child’s day with you at the end of each session. We try to follow any routines that you have established at home and will complete a daily diary for your child, which tells you what your baby has done during the day-this includes sleeping time, meals, snacks, milk, nappies and their general wellbeing. We welcome your comments, suggestions and also other information about your child in the diary. Younger children are given plenty of stimulating activities and choice in order to get them used to the nursery environment, particularly during the settling-in period.

We place great importance on providing sensitive care with a variety of experiences to promote your baby’s emotional development and understanding of their environment. Interaction through speech and play is also important to create special attachments with adults and carers and to nurture a sense of security and well-being. We like to take part in a variety of activities throughout the day, including walks in the fresh air and going to local parks. Indoor activities take place in our well-equipped playroom and include creative and craft play such as painting, sticking, music and singing. All activities are structured around your baby’s individual needs and abilities in order to support their growth and development into healthy and happy children.

When your child turns two, you will receive a 2 years progress check report by the keyworker of your child and the keyworker will discuss that report with you and you can write your comments in this report too.
